We can provide skilled, experienced riding crews to assist with pipe repairs, welding and fabrication, electrical and mechanical engineering whilst vessels are underway. This saves operators lost revenue whilst vessels are laid up in port awaiting completion of repairs, when finished our crew will simply depart at the next port of call.
Our riding crews can comprise of qualified welders with the skills and knowledge to work within the requirements of all principle IACS member organisations on both steel and aluminium ship repairs and renewals. Mechanical and electrical engineers are OEM trained and experienced in a broad range of equipment and systems across various vessels and platforms.
All personnel are confined space certified, and prepared to travel internationally. Our teams are happy to work offshore, on fixed or mobile platforms, and are certified for offshore works accordingly. We routinely provide mechanical engineers, welders and fabricators to a variety of customers.
We’re well versed in the provision of riding crews therefore when we deploy nothing is left to chance and we’ll come prepared with all items of plant, equipment and spares which may reasonably be needed for the project.
Our riding crews are experienced at working onboard operational in-service vessels and also during sea trials following build and refit programmes to provide technical guidance and support.
We have a great deal of experience in the provision of riding crews for inservice short and long sea voyages and vessel commissioning following major refits at Burgess Marine. The provision of our riding crews in not conditional on us refitting your vessel, we’re happy to help wherever and whatever the circumstances may be.
